Millbrook Schools' Music Department Raises Funds With Bookfair POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Millbrook Central School District's Music Department will hold a fundraiser bookfair at the Poughkeepsie Barnes & Noble on Sunday. A percentage of Barnes & Noble purchases throughout the day will benefit the Millbrook Music Department.  The bookfair will feature performances from Grade 6 chorus, 7/8 chorus, 6-8 select chorus, high school concert choir, madrigal choir, men's ensemble, jazz band and soloists and combos throughout the day.

Woman In Critical Condition After Crashing Into House STAMFORD, Conn. -- A 70-year-old Stamford woman is in critical condition following a three-car crash on High Ridge Road this morning, according to the Stamford Advocate. Woman Accused Of Hudson River Kayak Murder Ordered To Submit DNA Test POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Angelika Graswald, the Poughkeepsie woman facing murder charges in the death of her fiancé earlier this year, was ordered to submit to a DNA test Thursday, according to multiple reports. Prosecutors requested a swab test from Graswald, 35, to compare it to case evidence, according to Time Warner Cable News. As previously reported, Graswald pleaded not guilty to charges of second-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. She is accused of causing fiancé VIncent Viafore to drown by messing with his kayak. Rhinebeck Woman, 55, Faces Felony DWI Charge RHINEBECK, N.Y. -- New York State Police arrested a woman from Rhinebeck for allegedly driving while intoxicated.  Sharon M. Cody, 55, was allegedly found to be intoxicated by state troopers assisting the Village of Rhinebeck Police Department with a traffic stop. A breath sample reportedly revealed a blood alcohol content of .15%.  She was charged with felony DWI after a criminal history revealed a previous conviction related to DWI from 2008. Cody was directed to appear in Town of Rhinebeck Court on Nov. 18.
