The construction worker killed in a Kenilworth trench accident earlier this month has been identified as a 29-year-old former Rutgers University athlete. Corey Greg Stasenko, of Cranford, was killed on Monday, May 6, during a project on Monroe Street, Daily Voice has learned. A teen in Monmouth County was fighting for his life after going into cardiac arrest, a fundraising campaign said. A GoFundMe page said JJ Machnik suffered a "traumatic cardiac event" on the morning of Friday, May 10. The GoFundMe page had raised more than $39,000 from at least 680 donations as of Monday, May 13.
