Man Accused Of Central Mass Murder Guilty, Will Spend Rest Of His Life Behind Bars: DA A Worcester man will spend the rest of his life in prison after a jury found him guilty of killing 23-year-old Leon Wilson Jr. during a violent robbery in Fitchburg. Mugisha Jeanbosco, 27, was convicted of first-degree murder and armed robbery for the deadly attack near Pie Alley on July 11, 2019. Jeanbosco will receive a mandatory life sentence with no chance of parole. Sentencing is scheduled for August 1. CT Driver Killed After Crashing Into Large Stones In I-84 Median In Middlebury A 39-year-old Connecticut man was killed after he lost control of his car on I-84 and crashed into a large pile of rocks in the median.  Jeffrey Lepage, of Plantsville, was driving in the left lane on the highway near Benson Road in Middlebury when he lost control of his Subaru around 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, July 24, Connecticut State Police said.  It's unclear what caused him to lose control, but Lepage's car skidded into the grassy median before smashing into a pile of large rocks, police said.  Paramedics rushed him to Waterbury Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.…

Police ID 25-Year-Old Who Drowned In Becket Quarry Authorities have identified a 25-year-old Springfield man as the person who drowned in a Western Massachusetts quarry last week.  Rainiely Meteo, of Springfield, was found by divers at the Becket Quarry Saturday morning, July 19, the Berkshire County District Attorney's Office announced Thursday.  Meteo had gone swimming in the quarry with a woman on Friday. Around 5:30 p.m., he began to struggle and slid beneath the water in a matter of seconds, authorities said.
