Cashless Tolling Coming Soon To Tappan Zee Bridge ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Cashless tolling is likely coming to the Tappan Zee Bridge in April, according to a story on lohud.com.Drivers crossing the bridge from Rockland will either pay immediately via their E-ZPass account or later when a monthly bill arrives in the mail. Cameras mounted on a steel frame above the southbound Thruway in South Nyack will keep tabs by taking photographs of vehicles' license plates, lohud.com said.
