Trooper Saves Life Of Monsey Man About To Jump Off Tappan Zee Bridge MONSEY, N.Y. -- A state police trooper was able to convince a Monsey man poised to jump off the Tappan Zee Bridge not to do it Saturday morning, according to a story on lohud.com.Trooper Andrea Wilson was the first officer to respond to a report of a disabled car on the south side of the span at 6:45 a.m. She found a man over the side of the rail, ready to jump, lohud.com said.
