She has a bachelor's degree in English from Stony Brook University and a Master's degree in publishing from Pace University. She married with four teenage children and is a competitive runner and avid exerciser.

Rockland County Jury Finds Garnerville Man Guilty Of Strangling Girlfriend GARNERVILLE, N.Y. -- A Rockland County jury has found a Garnerville man guilty of strangling his girlfriend, according to reports. Nixon Bourguignon, 28, was found guilty of second-degree murder in the death of Shannon Coleman. The jury rejected Bourguignon’s defense that he was under the influence of the sleep aid Ambien when he strangled Coleman in their Garnerville apartment in May 2014, News 12 said.
