Police Apprehend Homicide Suspect After Standoff In Pawling PAWLING, N.Y. – A suspect in a Suffolk County homicide was arrested Tuesday in Pawling, State Police said. At approximately 5:30 p.m., New York State Police from Troop K were contacted by the Suffolk County Police Department requesting assistance with locating a homicide suspect who they said may be in the area of the Appalachian Trail in the Town of Pawling, officials said.
