Sen. Carlucci Donates Supplies To Park School In Ossining OSSINING, N.Y. -- State Sen. David Carlucci (D–Rockland/Westchester) recently donated school supplies to Park Elementary School in Ossining.For some families, the start of the school year brings with it the uncertainty of providing their children with the school supplies they need. Basketball Registration Opens For Ridgefield Park Kids RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J. -- Basketball registration is open to both boys and girls in grades 2-8 who live or attend school in Ridgefield Park. Rockland County Launches '911' Text Option ROCKLAND COUNTY N.Y. -- In an emergency, people now can text "911" in Rockland, the sheriff's office has announced, according to lohud.com.Rockland has become the first Hudson Valley county to use the texting system, lohud.com said.
