She has a bachelor's degree in English from Stony Brook University and a Master's degree in publishing from Pace University. She married with four teenage children and is a competitive runner and avid exerciser.

Ursula Holmes, 83, Easton Resident EASTON, Conn. -- Ursula (Sally) Parkermege Holmes, of Easton, formerly of Fairfield, wife of Richard T. Holmes, died Saturday, Sept. 12. She was 83. She was born in Fairfield on Oct. 21, 1931.  She was an active member of the Notre Dame of Easton Catholic Church, the Easton Senior Center and the Fayerweather Yacht Club.  She and her husband celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on May 7.
