Dudas was a loving homemaker and a former parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church in Passaic. Dudas is survived by a daughter, Jane Schweitzer and husband Chuck of Lake Worth; granddaughter Melissa Mitchell and husband Kane; and great-grandchildren Amanda, Andrew and Alex. Joseph A LeMay, Age 82, of Ridgewood RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Joseph A. Lemay, a longtime resident of Ridgewood and Ramapo College professor, died Aug. 27 at his country home in the Adirondacks. He was 82. LeMay was born and grew up in Brooklyn, and later moved to Paterson. He was married to Moira from 1958 until her death in 2014. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he graduated from Penn State University in 1960 and received a master’s degree from Georgetown and a Ph.D. from Fordham. Passaic County Residents Can Get Papers Shredded Free PATERSON, N.J. -- Passaic County residents can have paper shredded for free on Saturday, Sept. 12 -- rain or shine -- in the parking lot of Lambert Castle. Vincenzo Legato, 36, of 11 Valley View Terrace, was arrested in Bedford by Yorktown police officers assisted by the Bedford Police Department. Passaic, Prepare For Busy Roads This Holiday Weekend PASSAIC COUNTY, N.J. -- If you’re traveling this weekend, AAA Northeast warns roads and airports will be busy. A stronger labor market, lower gas prices and more spending money all will affect Labor Day travel volume, expected to be the highest since 2008. AAA forecasts an estimated 35.5 million Americans will travel between Sept 3-7, a 1 percent increase from 2014. Of those about 86 percent will drive and about 7 percent plan to fly. “Another mode of travel” accounts for the remaining approximately 7 percent.
