Lane Closure Scheduled On I-684 In Bedford, North Salem Motorists in Northern Westchester are being alerted of an upcoming lane closure that will affect Interstate 684 in two towns.  Interstate 684 southbound will be reduced to two lanes between Exit 8 (Hardscrabble Road) in North Salem and Exit 6 (Route 35) in Bedford on Thursday, Oct. 5, the New York State Department of Transportation announced.  The reduction will last between 10 p.m. Thursday and 4 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 6, officials said.  The lane closure is to allow for bridge repairs.
