Wayne Community Rallies For Boy, 13, With Rare Bone Cancer WAYNE, N.J. -- A GoFundMe page has been established to help the family of a Wayne boy who has a rare bone cancer.So far, the the effort has raised $22,378 for Jake Rudd, a "funny, sweet, tough, kind-hearted and gentle" teen whose been diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma, a rare bone cancer. Jake, a lacrosse player, complained of leg pain in April, said the web page. He tried ice, Advil and other remedies, then was taken to an orthopedist and other doctors and hospitals.
