WYCKOFF, N.J. — Wyckoff resident Brian D. Pruiksma died Tuesday, May 31. He was 68.
Born in Paterson, Pruiksma lived in Midland Park and Prospect Park before moving to Wyckoff 40 years ago.
He was a salesman for Arcola Bus and Services, a handicapped accessibility company in Carlstadt before his retirement.
He was a member of the Faith Community Christian Reformed Church in Wyckoff.

LODI, N.J. — Lodi resident Oscar Omar Melian died Monday, May 30. He was 60.
Born in Paso de Los Toros, Uruguay to Oscar Abel Melian and Maria Elena (Casavieja) Melian, he is survived by his wife, Mabel Y. (Rui) Melian; son, Oscar Melian and his wife Melissa; and sons, Robert, Daniel, Ivan, and Andrew Melian.
He also is survived by grandchildren, Isabella, Jacob, and Sophia Melian; brothers, Jose "Pepe" Melian, Rodolfo "Cabeza" Melian, Walter "Turco" Melian; and sister, Maria "Querida" Melian.

Born in Wilkes Barre, Pa., Babiarz lived in Harrison for 30 years before moving to North Arlington 35 years ago.
She worked as a waitress at Eagan's Restaurant in North Arlington for 40 years before retiring in 2001.
