STAMFORD, Conn. — Josephine Pompa Bochicchio of Stamford died on Tuesday, May 17. She was 82.
Bochicchio is survived by her husband, Rocco Bochicchio; and her five children, Anthony, Joanne, Carol Anne, and her husband, Mike Duda, Daniel, and his wife, Karin, and Joseph.
She also is survived by her grandchildren, Brittany, Courtney and Katrina Duda, and Matthew Bochicchio.
Bochicchio was predeceased by her parents, Jennie (Guglielmo) and Anthony Pompa.

Dr. Max E. Gahwyler, 92, Longtime Darien Resident
DARIEN, Conn. — Longtime Darien resident Dr. Max E. Gahwyler died on Friday, May 13. He was 92.
A native of Arosa, Switzerland, Gahwyler studied internal medicine in Lausanne and Geneva.
He moved to the U.S. after World War II and continued to work as a physician, as well as developing a long-term career at Pfizer and American Home, where he worked in antibiotic research and world-wide marketing.

Joseph M. Konner, 84, Shelton Resident
SHELTON, Conn. — Longtime Shelton resident Joseph M. Konner died on Monday, May 16. He was 84.
Konner served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, then went to Sikorsky Aircraft, where he worked as a configuration manager in the Black Hawk program for more than 35 years, before retiring in 1992.
Together with his wife, Phyllis (Spooner) Konner, he was a founding member of St. Margaret Mary Church, where he was a member of the men’s league, served as an usher, and coached at the former St. Margaret Mary School.

WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. — Wappingers Falls resident Janet Marie Laurenzano died Monday, May 16. She was 37.
A Yonkers native, Laurenzano grew up in Putnam Valley and graduated from Walter Panas High School before earning her BSN from Hartwick College in 2000.
After graduation, she worked as a registered nurse for Westchester Medical Center and most recently at NYP Hudson Valley Hospital.

Richard Gralicer, 86, Yonkers Resident
YONKERS, N.Y. — Yonkers resident Richard Gralicer died Sunday, May 15. He was 86.
A Schenectady native, Gralicer served with the U.S. Army with the "Wolfhounds," 25th and 27th Infantry divisions, stationed in Japan.
He was a practicing attorney for more than 60 years and was a senior partner at Gralicer & Kaiser, Esqs., with a concentration in representing persons who suffered serious personal injuries.
