Frank Genovesi, 91, Somers Resident
SOMERS, N.Y. — Somers resident Frank Genovesi died on Wednesday, May 3. He was 91.
He was born on March 5, 1925, to Giacomo and Luisa Genovesi in Casamari, Italy.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran and served in World War II.
He was an avid boxer, bowler and golfer.
Genovesi is survived by his wife of 69 years, Ida Genovesi; daughter Louise Perucci, son Frank Jr. and his wife, Debbie, and daughter Diana.
He also is survived by his brother, Mario Genovesi; sister, Julia Panizzut; grandchildren James and Robert Perucci, Jennifer and Mallory Genovesi; and four great-grandchildren.

Margaret 'Marge' Powers, 91, Mamaroneck Resident
MAMARONECK, N.Y. — Mamaroneck resident Margaret "Marge" Powers died on Sunday, May 1. She was 91.
She was born March 12, 1925, to Bernardo and Charina DiRuzzo.
Powers attended Mamaroneck High School and Taft Business School in White Plains.
She worked for the Village of Mamaroneck for 30 years where she served as an enforcement officer for the Village Police Department and 17 years for the Village Court.
She married Nicholas J. Powers in 1943, who predeceased her, and later Anthony Dell in 1995.

Dolores M. Ryan, 90, Of New Rochelle
NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. — New Rochelle resident Dolores Marguerite Ryan died on Monday, May 2. She was 90.
An alumna of Red Bank Catholic High School, Ryan trained in nursing at Jersey City Medical Center and began her nursing career at Bellevue Medical Center in Manhattan.
Ryan is survived by her children, Edward J. Ryan, Mary Ryan-Waters, Ann Ryan, and Patricia Ryan.
She also is survived by grandchildren John, Robert and Reilly Waters and Samuel L. and Carolyn L. Ryan.
Ryan was predeceased by her husband, Edward.

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. — Tarrytown resident Sheila R. Rose died on Tuesday, May 3. She was 68.
Born Aug. 26, 1947, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Melvin and Murial Rubin Stillerman.
Rose worked for RMCB-AMCA in Elmsford for many years.
She is survived by Stanley FRose, her husband of 47 years, as well as her twin children Missy Rose and Jason Michael (Fabiola) Rose; grandchildren Armando Velez, Amanda Ja'i Rose, Jake Diaz and Jason Michael Rose, Jr.; and her sister Iris (Lawrence) Hookway.

WEST HAVERSTRAW, N.Y. — West Haverstraw resident Barbara A. Capello died on Sunday, May 1. She was 72.
She was born on Oct. 31, 1943 in Suffern, to Stanley and Mary (Moser) Thomas.
A native of Suffern, Capello worked as a machine operator for Avon products for approximately 15 years and then Novartis Pharmaceuticals for approximately 20 years.
Capello is survived by her children, Peter J. Capello and Jo-Ann (Kelly) Feniger, as well as grandchildren Troy, PJ, Shawn, Cassie and Courtney; and a brother, Jack (B.J.) Thomas.
