Greenwich defeated Glastonbury in Wednesday's semifinals, 5-4, in overtime, to reach Saturday's championship game. Garrison Man Charged With DWI In Cortlandt CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- A Garrison man was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated on Tuesday. Jonathan Colasurdo, 56, of Garrison, was arrested by New York State Police out of the Cortlandt barracks conducted a a DWI patrol in Westchester and Putnam counties. He was processed at the state police barracks in Cortlandt and is scheduled to appear in Phillipstown Town Court on April 8.

Troncone was on born April 9, 1923, in Mount Vernon to Frank and  Pauline (Signorelli) Sattarelle. Victor Cruz Garcia, 43, of Kent, was convicted of rape and criminal sexual act, both violent felonies, and endangering the welfare of a child. Ruth Thomas Bedford, a longtime Westport resident, actively supported both the Family YMCA and Norwalk Hospital. She died June 15, 2014, at the age of 99. William Ewald, Speechwriter For Eisenhower, Dies In Greenwich GREENWICH, Conn. -- William B. Ewald Jr., a speechwriter for President Dwight D. Eisenhower, died Monday at his home in Greenwich. Ewald, 89, died of respiratory failure, his son William B. Ewald III told The New York Times. After Eisenhower left office, he wrote a two-volume memoir with Ewald. Eisenhower’s memoirs, “The White House Years: Mandate for Change, 1953-1956” and “Waging Peace, 1956-1961,” were written after Ewald spent four years with Eisenhower at his home in Gettysburg, Pa.
