HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Joyce G. Gatti Di Zenzo, of Hackensack, died on Friday, March 17. She was 85.
Before she retired, Di Zenzo was a sales associate for Garafano Jewelry in Hackensack for many years. She was a parishioner of St. Francis Church, in Hackensack.
She is survived by her husband, of 60 years, Carmine "Bob" Di Zenzo; siblings Joan Gatti Eckert and her husband Thomas of Virginia Beach, and Beatrice Gatti Stearns of Maywood; nephews, Thomas and Mare Stearns; and nieces, Kimberly Failon, Susan Noakson and Elizabeth Sorell.

ORADELL, N.J. -- Vincent R. Cancro, of Oradell, died on Friday, March 17. He was 87.
Before he retired, Cancro was a supervisor for Con Edison. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church, in Oradell, and a member of the Con Edison Retirees.
He is survived by his children, Linda and John Lucas, Nancy and Karo Johnson, and Susan and Ronald Baker, and his grandchildren, Jeff, Alex, Jill, Farrell and Sam. He was preceded by his wife, Josephine.

RIVER EDGE, N.J. -- William A. Weierstall, of River Edge, died on Wednesday, March 15. He was 101.
A Navy veteran of World War II, "He was an avid athlete who loved all kinds of sports, including softball, baseball, cycling and more," information from the funeral home noted.
"He was also an avid and loyal Yankees fan."

LODI, N.J. -- Lillian Rose Camillia (Swentzell) Scimeca, formerly of Lodi, died on Friday, March 10. She was 83.
Born in East Paterson, "She was a devout Catholic, talented artist and singer, and an avid gardener," information from the funeral home noted.
Scimeca was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Lodi and St. John's Church in Marshall’s Creek, where she served in many capacities. She was also a member and at one time president of the Elks Women Auxiliary of Hasbrouck Heights.
