Byram Hills Senior Wins First-Place Award In MIT Inspire Competition ARMONK, N.Y. -- Byram Hills senior Danielle Adiletta has won first place in the Woman and Gender Studies category of the MIT Inspire competition.  Adiletta entered her authentic science research project, “Decisions About Infant Feeding: A Comparative Study of Women of Higher and Lower Education Levels.” The Massachusetts Institute of Technology's INSPIRE group, which runs the national competition with support from the institute's School of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, also gave Adiletta a $2,000 award. Bronxville's St. Joseph Kindergartners Perform In Rock And Count Show BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- The St. Joseph School kindergartners, along with their fourth-grade Book Buddies, performed their first ever Rock and Count Show on April 29. Dressed as Bobby Soxers and Greasers, the children performed songs about counting, shapes and addition to the tunes of some very popular rock and roll songs. The audience was filled with friends and family who cheered and sang along to the numbers. The show was written and directed by the kindergarden teachers Annette Casarella and Donna Balardi. Piano and guitar accompaniment were provided by Joseph Casarella.
