Norwalk Parking Authority Offers Free Parking During Street Sweeping NORWALK, Conn. -- To help Norwalk car owners, the Norwalk Parking Authority announced that as part of the resumption of street sweeping, it will open its facilities free of charge for overnight parkers in the South Norwalk and Wall Street areas.  From 10 p.m. Sunday until 8 a.m. Monday, people will be allowed to park their cars for free in the Yankee Doodle Garage in the Wall Street area and in the Webster Lot in SoNo in order to keep the streets clear for sweeping. She was 81 years old.  Born in Scranton, Pa., on July 10, 1933, to John and Mary Walsh, she was a nurse at St. Vincent's Medical Center for 25 years, and until recently, worked for the St. Vincent's Wellness Center performing blood pressure and cholesterol screenings.
