Matthew Mack, Of Stamford
STAMFORD, Conn. -- Matthew Mack of Stamford died on Wednesday, Jan. 21.
He was born in Wagram, N.C., son of Robert and Georgianna Cook Mack. He was a well-known chef throughout the area and retired from the Marriott Hotel Inc.
In addition to his wife, Sherrie Charley Mack, he is survived by one son, Timothy Beswick (Helen); 14 grandchildren; one brother; three sisters; a godson; and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Concetta "Connie" Del Bove Fabrizio, of White Plains, died on Wednesday, Jan 21. She was 93.
She was born on Feb. 21, 1921, in New York City to Giovanni and Franceschina (Fusco) Del Bove. She was devoted to her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Joanne Cannone (Tom) of Poughquag N.Y.; Frances Oldi (Michael) of White Plains; Louis Fabrizio of Raleigh, N.C.; Susanne Walters (Tom) of Maiden, N.C.; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Fiore Fabrizio.

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Ida Perlstein died on Friday, Jan. 23 at The Jewish Home for the Elderly of Fairfield. She was 98.
She was born in Uniontown, Pa., a daughter of Harry and Dora Walowitz.
Perlstein was predeceased by her husband, Albert Perlstein.
She is survived by her children, Sondra Germain and her husband Jack; Bruce Perlstein and his wife Lauren; eight grandchildren; and five great-granddaughters.

Eugene Kahn Of South Salem, Father Of Pound Ridge Resident
SOUTH SALEM, N.Y. -- Eugene Kahn died on Friday, Jan. 23, at his home in South Salem, from complications of Parkinson's disease. He was 83.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., Kahn was a high school math teacher for the Bellmore-Merrick School District on Long Island for most of his career. He was married for 40 years to Ruth Kahn, who died 15 years ago.
