Carmella DiNapoli Cantavero, 84, Longtime Darien Resident
STAMFORD, Conn. -- Carmella DiNapoli Cantavero, a Stamford resident and former longtime Darien resident, died on Thursday, Jan. 8 in Stamford Hospital. She was 84.
Born on May 15, 1930 in Stamford, Cantavero was the daughter of Rocco and Bernadette (DeMala) DiNapoli. Cantavero graduated from Stamford High School in 1948. She loved reading, baking and gardening. Florida was her favorite place to vacation.

Ruth Farley, 81, Lifelong Bridgeport Resident
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Ruth Marie Farley, of Bridgeport, died Sunday, Jan. 11, at the Watermark in Bridgeport. She was 81.
Born and raised in Bridgeport, Farley was the daughter of Howard and Margaret Wargo Farley and had been a lifelong area resident. She was most proud of her time working as a secretary in the Navy Reserves, and most recently worked at Jenkins Valve Co. before her retirement.
She is survived by her niece and nephews and several greatnieces and greatnephews. She was predeceased by her brother.
