Johanne Dressel, 87, Longtime Fairfield Resident FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Johanne Clark Dressel, a longtime resident of Fairfield, died at home on Dec. 18. She was 87 years old.  Dressel had lived as a widow since 1975 when her loving husband Wayne succumbed to cancer at the age of 47. She was born and raised in Jackson, Mich. and graduated from Jackson Junior College, She was married to Wayne Dressel and was employed as a secretary until the birth of their first child. They lived in Rocky River, Ohio, before moving to Fairfield in 1968.  She was an avid bowler, enjoyed golf, and loved nature, bridge, books, and most of all, her family. …
