Re-Accreditation Assessment Team Invites Public Comment In Scarsdale
SCARSDALE, N.Y. – A team of assessors from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc., will arrive on Sunday, Dec. 7, to examine all aspects of the Scarsdale Police Department’s policies and procedures, management, operations and support services, Chief John A. Brogan announced Friday, Nov. 28.
Verification by the assessment team that the Scarsdale Police Department meets the commission's state-of-the-art standards is part of a voluntary process to maintain National Accreditation, a highly prized recognition of law enforcement professional excellence.

Darien Senior Program Plans Holiday Events At Mather Center
DARIEN, Conn. The Mather Center will be holding several upcoming events for senior citizens, including managing holiday stress and anxiety, dealing with loss during the holidays, music and more.
