Stamford Artist Displays Work In New York City
STAMFORD, Conn. – “Evening Glow,” by internationally acclaimed Stamford artist Liron Sissman, will be displayed at The American Artists Professional League Grand National Exhibition in Manhattan. The exhibit will be on display at The Salmagundi Club, 47 5th Avenue (between 11th and 12th Streets) in Manhattan from Nov. 10 through Nov. 21. Two Greenwich Restaurants Raise Money To Benefit United Way
GREENWICH, Conn. – Greenwich Avenue restaurants Terra and Mediterraneo held their 9th annual “Week of Caring” to raise money for the Greenwich United Way. The proceeds from that week will benefit the United Way’s work helping to meet the health and human service needs of the community. Norwalk's Chowdafest Announces Contest Winners
NORWALK, Conn. – Thousands of chowder loving foodies from all over Connecticut converged at Norwalk’s Calf Pasture Beach to determine the state’s best chowder, soup and bisque at Chowdafest. GREENWICH, N.Y. – A.G. Williams and several local sponsors, including the Town of Greenwich, came together to raise funds for arts education, supporting the Greenwich Cartooning Chronicles after-school program.
