Driver Was Spinning Tires Before Killing Belmar Lawyer In Nashville Crosswalk: Police A 58-year-old New Jersey attorney and lobbyist was killed in Nashville, TN on Saturday, Oct. 19 after he was struck by a vehicle, authorities said. Michael O'Connell, of Belmar, was crossing the street with the walk light when he was struck by 2009 Dodge pickup truck attempting to make a left turn, Nashville police said in a release. Two Injured In Tractor Trailer Crash On Route 78: Njsp Two people were injured after two truck collided in Route 78 in Hunterdon County on the morning of Monday, Oct. 21, authorities said. At 7:03 a.m., a USPS truck lost control on Route 78 West in Bethlehem Township and truck another truck hauling carbonated drinks, subsequently veering off the roadway and crashing into a guardrail, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. Both drivers sustained minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

West New York Man Sexually Assaulted 14-Year-Old Girl: Prosecutor A 37-year-old West New York man was arrested and charged on Friday, Oct. 18 with sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in March, authorities said.
