Pedestrian Seriously Injured After Struck By Vehicle: Raritan PD A pedestrian was seriously injured after they were struck by a motor vehicle in Raritan on the evening of Sunday, Oct. 27, authorities said. At 7:47 p.m., officers responded to Route 31 and East Main Street and found a 52-year-old Stockton woman struck by a vehicle, Raritan police said. Teenager On Scooter Critical After Jersey City Crash: Authorities A 17-year-old is in critical condition after he struck a vehicle while riding a scooter on the afternoon of Sunday, Oct. 27 in Jersey City, authorities said. The crash occurred at Route 440 and Danforth Avenue, near the intersection, Kimberly Wallace-Scalfione, a spokeswoman for the mayor's office said.  The teenager was transported to a local hospital with apparent life-threatening injuries to his head, Wallace-Scalfione said. He was last stated to be in critical condition, Wallace-Scalfioe said.  The investigation is ongoing, Wallace-Scalfioe said.

Woman Airlifted In Route 80 Crash: Njsp A woman had to be airlifted to a nearby hospital after a crash on Route 80, the early morning of Monday, Oct. 28, state police said. At 2:56 a.m., a Madza SUV was traveling westbound on Route 80 in Rockaway Township when it entered the right shoulder and crashed into the back of an unoccupied truck, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The driver, a 28-year-old Kenvil woman, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to an area hospital, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.
