Man Breaks Into Home, Stabs Resident In Capital Region, Police Say A 48-year-old man is accused of breaking into a home in the region and stabbing a resident. The Saratoga County incident happened Friday, Jan. 12 in the town of Malta, at a residence on Knabner Road. Sheriff’s officials said deputies were called at around 12:45 a.m. for a disturbance call. An investigation found that George Tinoco, of Saratoga Springs, entered the home through a window while armed with a knife. He allegedly then stabbed a woman in her arm.
