Fatal Crash: Witnesses Wanted After Incident Involving 32-Year-Old Victim In Shelton Police are searching for witnesses to a one-car crash that killed a 32-year-old Connecticut resident. The collision occurred in Fairfield County around 10 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 15 in Shelton at the intersection of Shelton Avenue and Pine Street. The man from Ansonia, whose name has not yet been released, was the only occupant and was later pronounced dead, said the Shelton Police. Suspected Drug Dealer Caught In Hudson Valley Raid A suspected Hudson Valley drug dealer was nabbed following a warrant raid on his home in which drugs were allegedly found. Shawn Jackson, age 42, of the city of Poughkeepsie, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell on Thursday, Aug. 17. Jackson was arrested by members of the Dutchess County Drug Task Force following an ongoing investigation into the sale of drugs in the Main Street corridor of Poughkeepsie, said Det. Sgt. Know Him? Man Wanted In Westport Store Larceny Police in Fairfield County are asking the public for help identifying a man wanted in connection with two toy store larcenies. The incidents took place in Westport on Monday, Aug. 7, and Friday, Aug. 11, at Awesome Toys at 429 Post Road East (Route 1). According to Lt. Eric Woods of the Westport Police, a white Hispanic man entered the store around 4:45 p.m. and stole a “Traxxas” truck and art supplies. Hudson Valley Man Nabbed With Semi-Automatic Ghost Gun, Police Say A Hudson Valley man was nabbed with a loaded semi-automatic gun after police responded to a report of a dispute. The incident took place in Dutchess County around 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 15 in the city of Poughkeepsie.
