The incident took place in Bridgeport around 1:25 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19. 5 Norwalk Smoke Shops Nabbed For Selling Vape Products To Minors, Police Say Five Fairfield County businesses were busted for allegedly selling vape tobacco products to minors during an undercover compliance check.  The compliance check took place in Norwalk on Monday, Dec. 19 at several different locations. The Norwalk Police Department Special Services Division and Special Victims Unit conducted the checks after continued complaints from parents regarding minors purchasing vape tobacco products, said Lt. The incident took place in Trumbull around Noon on Tuesday, Dec. 27 at the Westfield Trumbull Mall. Trumbull officers arrested two teenage girls after they were located sitting inside a stolen blue Hyundai Sonata parked by itself in the JC Penney lot, according to Lt. New London County resident Travis J. Schubel, 38, of Salem was arrested Wednesday, Dec. 28, by Waterford police during a traffic stop, Connecticut State Police said. Manslaughter Charge For Norwalk Crash That Left 1 Dead A 25-year-old Fairfield County man has been charged with manslaughter in connection with a crash that left a 19-year-old dead. The crash, which killed Oscar Valdovinos of Norwalk, took place in Norwalk on Sunday, Nov. 27 on Dr. Martin Luther King Drive. When Norwalk officers arrived on the scene of the crash they found a single-car crash with four people injured, said Deputy Chief Terrence Blake, of the Norwalk Police. St. Vincent's Medical Center On Lockdown After Man Threatens To 'Shoot It Up,' Police Say A man is in custody after threatening to "shoot up" a Fairfield County hospital. The incident took place in Bridgeport on Wednesday, Dec. 28 at St. Vincent's Medical Center on Main Street. A man made a threat while being escorted out of the hospital that he was going to "shoot it up," said Scott Appleby, director of Emergency Management.
