She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Robbery Of Postal Worker Under Investigation In Greenwich Police are searching for two suspects who allegedly attacked a postal worker and attempted to rob him in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Greenwich around 3:30 p.m., on Thursday, Nov. 10 on a residential street in the central part of the city. The USPS mail carrier was approached by two individuals who demanded the property he had on his person, said Lt. Martin O'Reilly, of the Greenwich Police. Landscaper Loses Part Of Finger In Accident In Hudson Valley A Hudson Valley landscaping employee lost a good part of a finger after getting it caught in a leaf blower machine. The incident took place in Ulster County around 7:15 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 1611 Route 9W in Milton. The Marlborough Police Department respond to a medical call for a reported person with a finger amputation, said Chief Gerald Cocozza, of the Marlborough Police. Man Seriously Injured After Being Struck By Van On Uniondale Roadway A Long Island man was seriously injured after being involved in a serious crash. The crash took place in Uniondale around 6:15 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 14 on Uniondale Avenue. According to Nassau County Police detectives, while attempting to cross Uniondale Avenue in the vicinity of Summer Avenue, from the south side to the north side, the man was struck by a 2002 Ford Econoline van. 5 Retailers Accused Of Selling Tobacco Products, E-Cigarettes To Minors After CT Detail Five Connecticut businesses were caught allegedly selling tobacco and e-cigarette to minors during a compliance check. The checks took place in New Haven County on Monday, Nov. 14 in Milford. Man Found Dead After Car Fire Breaks Out In CT A man was found dead following a car fire at a storage facility in Connecticut. The incident took place in Litchfield County around 10:20 p.m., Monday, Nov. 14 in New Milford at 40 Sullivan Road. Missing Hudson Valley Woman Found By CT State Police A missing Hudson Valley woman has been found by the Connecticut State Police. Putnam County resident Catherine Tully, age 83, of Patterson, was reported missing by Westport Police in Connecticut on Monday, Nov. 14, after her car was tracked at one point to the Weston Road area of the city, said Lt. Man Driving Drunk, Recklessly Nearly Hits Patrol Cruiser In Hudson Valley, Authorities Says A Hudson Valley man was arrested for alleged DWI and reckless driving after almost hitting a sheriff's patrol vehicle and a deputy. CT Liquor Store Clerk Shot During Apparent Robbery, Police Say Police in Connecticut are searching for a suspect after a liquor store clerk was found shot during an apparent robbery.
