Lifelong Member Of Hawthorne Fire Department, Army Vet Dies A community in Northern Westchester is mourning the loss of a lifelong firefighter who dedicated his life to public service.  Hawthorne resident Robert McKechnie died on Tuesday, May 16 at the age of 86, according to his obituary.  Born in 1937, McKechnie graduated from James Bryant High School in Queens and soon after graduation, went on begin a 40-year career at Pepsi.  He also served his country in the US Army from 1960 to 1962, and married his wife, Joan, not long after in 1964.  The couple first lived in Yonkers before moving to Hawthorne, where the…

Seen Him? Alert Issued For Missing CT 15-Year-Old Authorities are asking for help from the public in finding a missing 15-year-old who ran away from his New Haven County home. Dominick Addison, age 15, left his Ansonia home on Tuesday, May 16 around 7:30 a.m. and has not been seen since, according to the Ansonia Police Department.  Addison is described as weighing around 120 pounds and is 6 feet 2 inches tall.
