Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

3-Alarm Christmas Morning House Fire Displaces 2 In Norwalk Two people were displaced after a three-alarm Christmas morning house fire in Connecticut. The blaze broke out in Fairfield County just before 9 a.m. Monday, Dec. 25 in Norwalk in a 2.5-story home on Pine Hill Avenue. Initial reports stated there was smoke in the basement. It happened around 9:05 a.m. in Middlesex County on the I-91 northbound Exit 20 onramp in Middletown. Woman Shoots Victim, Barricades Herself Inside Newtown Residence On Christmas Eve, Police Say A woman has been apprehended after police say she shot a victim and then barricaded herself inside a Connecticut residence on Christmas Eve. The chain of events began to unfold in northern Fairfield County around 7:50 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 24 in Newtown. Newtown Police Department officers responded to the residence on Boggs Hill Road for a dispute.
