Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Downed Tree Limbs, Wires Knock Out Power To Hundreds In Ridgefield Hundreds of residents in a town in Fairfield County are without power due to downed tree limbs and wires as wind gusts between 30 and 35 miles per hour are being reported in the area. Just before 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, Eversource is reporting 675 customers in Ridgefield are in the dark after the incident in the northwestern part of town near the North Salem border. Nearby, just over the border in Northern Westchester, Route 124 is closed due to a down tree between Route 137 and Kitchawan Road in Pound Ridge. Check back to Daily for updates.

'Tripledemic' Concerns Grow As Surge In Flu Activity Strikes Amid Ongoing RSV, Covid-19 Cases Concerns of a so-called "Tripledemic" are growing amid the most widespread flu activity nationwide at this point in the season in over a decade while respiratory illnesses, particularly among children, are straining hospitals as COVID-19 is still an ongoing issue. Tatyana Grajales had last been seen in Hempstead on Grove Street around 8 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, Nassau County Police said. Police Investigating After 13-Year-Old Shot Inside Home In Yonkers Police are investigating after a teenager was shot inside a home in Westchester. The incident happened around 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18 in Yonkers in the area of 160 Linden St., according to police. A 13-year-old boy suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his hand and leg and was transported to a local area trauma center in stable condition, Yonkers Police said. Alert Issued For Missing New Rochelle Man A Westchester County man has gone missing and authorities are asking the public's help in locating him. Christopher Corcoran, age 62, was last seen leaving his residence in New Rochelle at around 12:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 16. Corcoran is hearing impaired and has recently shown signs of depression and paranoia, New Rochelle Police said. Woman Killed In Head-On Crash On Busy CT Roadway Police are investigating a fatal head-on crash on a busy Connecticut roadway. It happened around 3:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18 in Litchfield County on Route 202 in New Hartford.
