Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Man Killed In Crash At Long Island Parking Lot Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened in a parking lot on Long Island. It happened at around 6 p.m. Saturday, April 16 in North Patchogue. A man was driving a 2006 Mini Cooper in the shopping center parking lot, located at 440 Route 27, when he suffered a medical emergency that caused him to crash into a sign post, Suffolk County Police said. Body Found At Long Island Beach An investigation is underway after a body was found along a Long Island beach. In Nassau County, Sands Point Police responded to a 911 call from a resident who was walking along the beach and discovered a dead body in the vicinity of Plum Beach Point in Sands Point at around 9:10 a.m. Saturday, April 16, Nassau County Police said. CT State Police Trooper Struck By Wrong-Way Driver In Head-On Crash A Connecticut State Police trooper was struck by a wrong-way driver in a head-on crash overnight. It happened in Middlesex County just after 4 a.m. Saturday, April 16 on southbound Route 9 in the area of Exit 19 in Cromwell.
