Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Long Island Man Killed After Crash Involving Overturned Jeep Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that left a Long Island man dead. The victim, Kevin Nash, age 65, of Shoreham, was driving a 2010 Jeep Patriot in Bellport westbound on Martha Avenue when he suffered a medical emergency that caused him to lose control of the vehicle just east of Bellport Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, Suffolk County Police said. Woman Killed After Vehicle Fire Breaks Out On Long Island A woman was killed and a man injured after a vehicle fire broke out overnight on Long Island. The vehicle, a 2002 Ford Econoline van, was fully engulfed, in Coram on County Road 83, just north of Pine Road, when emergency responders arrived at 6:15 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18.  The victim, a passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner. It occurred at approximately 10:50 a.m. on Saturday, Dec.18 in Glen Cove. CT Bank Robbery Suspect Nabbed After Pursuit, Police Say A bank robbery suspect has been apprehended after a pursuit in Connecticut. Around 3:40 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, the Connecticut State Police in New London County Troop E Montville barracks was notified of an alarm at the Jewett City Savings Bank, located at 353 Route 165 in the Town of Preston.
