Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

ID Released For Man Shot, Killed In Broad Daylight On Busy Long Island Roadway A man who was killed after being shot in broad daylight on a busy Long Island roadway has now been identified. The incident happened Wednesday, March 24 at approximately 3:35 p.m. in Port Jefferson. Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct officers responded to a 911 call reporting a man shot in front of 122 Main Street. Dean's List College Student From Hudson Valley Found Dead In Dorm Room A college student from the Hudson Valley has died at age 20. Dutchess County resident Cory Gallinger, of Salt Point, a junior at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, was found unresponsive in his dorm room on Sunday, March 21, according to college officials. The cause of death has not been released. On Monday, March 22, a vigil was held outside a chapel on campus, with approximately 1,000 attending, according to Syracuse.com.
