Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Long Island Deli Forced To Close After SLA Inspection A Long Island deli was forced to close after an inspection led by the State Liquor Authority. The inspection was conducted at M&B Deli and Grocery on Broadway in Amityville on Friday, March 5 at around 8:40 p.m. The Town of Babylon Quality of Life Task Force issued 15 summons for combined building, fire, and code violations to the owner/manager. Teen Found Dead On Long Island A homicide investigation is underway after a teen was found dead on Long Island. The victim was found deceased in Cow Meadow Park Thursday, March 4 at 5:30 p.m. in Freeport with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim has been identified as Daniel Garcia-Carbajal, age 19, of Freeport. Wind Advisory Extended As Arctic Blast Grips Area An Arctic cold front is bringing strong, gusty winds, and bone-chilling wind chill to the region.
