Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Alert Issued For Missing 16-Year-Old Area Girl A 16-year-old girl has gone missing in the area and authorities are asking the public's help in locating her. Angelina Rodriguez was last seen leaving her Town of Newburgh home around 9 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22. She is 5-foot-4, 120 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, wears eyeglasses and was last seen wearing a black jacket, black shirt, black legging, and sneakers. Suspect Nabbed After Crashing Into Two Police Cars In Stolen Vehicle On Long Island A man was apprehended after crashing a stolen vehicle into two police cars while fleeing from officers overnight on Long Island. Christopher Cruz, age 30, stole a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee from the driveway of a Port Jefferson Station residence on Oakland Avenue at approximately 11:40 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, Suffolk County Police said. Covid-19: First NY Resident Diagnosed With More Contagious South African Mutant Strain The first case of the South African mutant strain of COVID-19 has been identified in a resident of New York State. Fairfield County Man Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash A Fairfield County man was killed in an overnight crash on Route 8 in New Haven County. It happened just before 11 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, in Derby, according to state police. Jonathan Perez, age 36, of Bridgeport, was traveling northbound at the Exit 18 off-ramp when his 2021 Hyundai Sonata left the roadway at a high rate of speed and struck a tree, said police.
