Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Snowfall Projections Increase Again: Much Of Region Could Now See Between 18-24 Inches The major Nor'easter taking aim on the region may wind up being one for the books. The latest snowfall projections, released late Sunday afternoon, Jan. 31 by the National Weather Service, indicate parts of the area could see as much as two feet of snowfall. A large swath of accumulations of 18 to 24 inches of snowfall is now expected from overnight Sunday to throughout the day Monday, Feb. 1 into early Tuesday, Feb. 2 expected across all of New York City, the lower Hudson Valley, much of Nassau County, portions of southwest Connecticut, and Northeast New Jersey. Zach Chmelecki, Former HS Football, Lacrosse Player In Westchester, Dies At 23 Zachary Thomas Chmelecki, of Rye Neck, died on Tuesday, Jan. 26. He was 23. Zack was born Oct. 13, 1997, to Charles and Lisa (nee Zaccaria) Chmelecki. A football and lacrosse player, he played for Iona Prep and later Rye Neck High School where he graduated in 2015.  Later in his life, he was passionate about surfing, fishing, and cooking.  "Zack was a presence; his smile brightened every room he entered," according to his obituary. Nassau County Police First Precinct officers responded to the vicinity of 17 Walton Ave. in Uniondale for a report of a man lying in the street just after 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 30.
