Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

One Critically Injured In Long Island Crash Police are investigating a motor vehicle crash that critically injured a man on Long Island. Joel Kramer II, age 31, of Lindenhurst, was driving a 2007 Ford Expedition with a small trailer attached to the rear eastbound on Sunrise Highway in Sayville, just east of Lincoln Avenue, when he lost control of the vehicle, struck a guardrail and overturned at approximately 5:05 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4, Suffolk County Police said. One Killed In Four-Vehicle Crash On Busy Long Island Roadway One person was killed in a four-vehicle crash on a busy Long Island roadway. It happened just before 9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2 in North Valley Stream in the vicinity of Franklin Avenue and Corona Avenue. A 2004 Volvo SUV was traveling southbound on Franklin Avenue when the operator lost control of the vehicle and struck an occupied vehicle stopped at a traffic light, Nassau County Police said. Body Of Missing Long Island Teen Recovered In Peconic Bay The body of a missing Long Island teen was recovered in Peconic Bay overnight, the Coast Guard announced late Sunday morning, Jan. 3, according to the Coast Coast.
