Speeding Car Slams Into North Branford Town Hall; Driver Cut From Vehicle Firefighters rescued a driver trapped in a mangled vehicle after it slammed into North Branford Town Hall overnight.  Emergency crews responded to the crash at 909 Foxon Road around 1:50 a.m. on Friday, March 28, according to North Branford officials. Firefighters said the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed before it struck the building. It took about 10 minutes for firefighters to cut the driver out of the car and transfer them to a waiting ambulance. The driver sustained serious injuries, officials said.
