57-Year-Old Rushed To ICU After Stamford Hit-Run Crash A 57-year-old Stamford man is in critical condition after being struck by an SUV on West Main Street, with police closing in on the suspected hit-and-run driver who fled the scene. The crash happened around 7 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, when a westbound 2008 Lexus SUV hit the pedestrian in the 400 block of West Main Street, police said. The victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to Stamford Hospital, where he was admitted to the ICU. Police ID Driver Who Died After Crashing Car During Medical Event On I-95 In Foxborough A 57-year-old Massachusetts man was killed earlier this week when he was involved in a three-car crash on I-95 South in Foxboro, authorities said.  William Martindale, 57, of Attleboro, was killed around 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, from a crash just before Exit 23B, Massachusetts State Police said. The fatal wreck happened around 1:43 a.m. on Feb. 14 when a northbound 2007 Honda Accord slammed into an Amtrak train bridge near South Colony Road and Powers Drive in Meriden, police said.
