She has a bachelor's degree in English from Stony Brook University and a Master's degree in publishing from Pace University. She married with four teenage children and is a competitive runner and avid exerciser.

Rosalind Gordon, 93, Of Bridgeport BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Rosalind Ruskin Gordon, of Bridgeport, died Dec. 25. She was 93. She was the wife of Harold Gordon, meeting her husband in Bridgeport during World War II.  Harold Gordon died in 1974.  She is survived by her daughter, Lois Gordon; her son and his wife, Jay and Sandy Gordon; her four grandchildren Harold Gordon (and his wife Dina), Scott Paris, Jennifer Matsumoto (and her husband Steven) and Jonathan Harold Gordon; and two great-grandchildren, Oliver Paris and Emma Matsumoto.  She grew up in Bridgeport and graduated from Central High School.  One of her proudest moment…

Conn. -- Stamford Public Education Foundation's mentoring program connects elementary school students with high school mentors for community service projects.Students from Roxbury Elementary and Julia A. Snow Shoveling Program In Fairfield Helps Seniors, Those With Disabilities FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Snow Shoveling for Seniors program in Fairfield has begun.The program connects seniors and people with disabilities in Fairfield with students who are willing to provide snow shoveling services.  Once registration is completed, a list of available shovelers is mailed out to area residents. Those enrolled in the program are responsible for contacting the volunteer from the list provided and for making financial or scheduling arrangements.  The volunteer is responsible for completing the task or notifying the resident if they are unable to complete the work.
