Christmas Stabbing In Mount Vernon Sends Man To Hospital MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- A man was hospitalized after being stabbed early Friday morning in Mount Vernon, according to a report by News 12 Westchester.The 27-year-old was found unconscious in the area of South Second Avenue, just after midnight, News 12 said. Stratford Police Seeking Information About Robbery At Credit Union STRATFORD, Conn. -- Police are looking for the public’s help in obtaining information about an armed robbery at the First Baptist Credit Union located at Johnson Court in Stratford, according to the Connecticut Post. The robbery involved two masked men, both armed, who entered the business and demanded money, the Post said. According to police, the suspects fled the scene on foot, taking an unknown amount of cash as well as several pocketbooks with personal items, cellphones and credit cards, the Post said.
