Ossining Food Pantry Celebrates 27th Anniversary With Fundraiser OSSINING, N.Y. -- The Ossining Food Pantry celebrated its 27th anniversary with its annual fundraising “Celebration.”The Sept. 27 event was held at a historic home in Scarborough overlooking the Hudson River and was attended by over 150 guests.  All proceeds from the event will help feed neighbors in need from the Greater Ossining Area.  The Ossining Food Pantry is an all-volunteer non-profit organization that last year provided over 150,000 meals for those in need in the greater Ossining area. Briarcliff Seventh-Graders Get Taste Of History In Philadelphia BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. -- Briarcliff Middle School’s seventh-grade students posed with past presidents and paid respect to Benjamin Franklin during its annual class trip to Philadelphia on Oct. 22. The 115 students, along with 13 teachers and parent volunteers, traveled to the historic city for a day of hands-on learning at Christ Church, the Liberty Bell, the Betsy Ross House, Benjamin Franklin’s burial site and print shop, the National Constitution Center and Independence Hall.
