Anne Pellino, 89, Of Ridgefield Park RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J. -- Anne Pellino, 89, of Ridgefield Park, N.J., died Sept. 18. She was born June 14, 1926, and spent her early years growing up with her three sisters in New York City. She attended City College and married Frank Sept. 12, 1948. The young couple first settled in Woodside, Queens, N.Y. In 1954, they moved to Ridgefield Park, where they raised their three children, and where she resided for the remainder of her life. Lakeland HS 'Tackles For A Cure' Game Aids Breast Cancer Fight SHRUB OAK, N.Y. -- Lakeland High School will be holding its Tackles for a Cure game on Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. Lakeland will take on Walter Panas High School for its fifth annual pink game. The stand will be all pink due to the T-shirt sales - the main fundraiser for the game. Shrub Oak Athletic Club football will be introduced at halftime and the SOAC cheerleaders will perform with the Lakeland cheerleaders. Tony Hwang is teaming with The Buzz Truck to bring free coffee to Metro-North commuters at the Fairfield Metro railroad station on Monday.
