Leonia Library To Host Makerspace Grand Opening
LEONIA, N.J. -- The Leonia Library will have the grand opening of its “Makerspace” program Saturday, Sept. 26.
The free session from 2-4 p.m. is an introduction to the library’s ongoing “Makerspace,” which will offer open space for students and families, as well as the STEAM program for kids and teens.

Italian Eatery Makes East Rutherford Debut Tuesday
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Su Di Noi restaurant will have its grand opening Tuesday, NorthJersey.com reported.
The new Italian eatery is taking over Sorrento, a popular fixture in East Rutherford for 30 years, at 132 Park. Ave., according to the story.
Renaldo Mora announced that he has purchased the 30-year old Sorrento and will continue to operate it as an Italian restaurant but with a new chef at the helm, Chef Ciro Conti. Conti has cooked at Girasole and Il Cortile, New York City, and is developing the new menu, NorthJersey. com said.

Waldwick Zoning Chairman Moving To Franklin Lakes
WALDWICK, N.J. -- The chairman of the Zoning Board has resigned and is moving to Franklin Lakes, NorthJersey.com reported.
J. Patrick Hunter resigned last month.
Hunter, a native of Waldwick, has been a member of the Zoning Board since 2008. He was vice chairman before being elected chairman, and held the position from 2013 until now, NorthJersey.com said.
Hunter and his wife, Angelyn, will be moving with their 7-month-old daughter, Olivia. He works in Manhattan as a sales manager for Mercedes-Benz, and is the co-owner of Wyckoff Cycle. He also rehabilitates commercial properties in Bergen…
