Westport Hosting Public Shred Day WESTPORT, Conn. -- An opportunity for Westport residents to securely dispose of sensitive and confidential papers is coming via a community paper shredding event. Westport Weston Health District will hold the seventh annual Public Shred Day on May 9 from 9 a.m. to noon. Proof of Westport residency is required "This event helps insure protection against identity theft, in addition to spring cleaning file cabinets," said First Selectman Jim Marpe. Teen Scene Welcomes Eastchester Sixth-Grade Students EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- Teen Scene will have a welcome night for sixth-grade students in Eastchester, Tuckahoe and Bronxville from 7:30-10 p.m. May 15 at the Field House at Haindl Field. The welcome is an opportunity to check out the activities Teen Scene will have next year.
