Pit Bull Terriers Attack Woman, Dog In North Salem A woman and a dog were injured in a pit bull terrier attack recently at Vails Grove co-op, according to an incident report filed with the North Salem Police Department. Around noon on Aug. 26, a woman was reportedly playing fetch with her two pit bull terriers at the residential complex on Peach Lake, police said. At that time another woman was outside walking her dog on a leash past a park area, according to police. Ossining Freshman Starts Third Year On Varsity Volleyball Team OSSINING, N.Y. -- An Ossining High School freshman is about to start her third season playing varsity volleyball.Mychael Vernon was only a seventh-grader when she tried out and made the team as a middle blocker. Shelton Lawyer Charged With Sexual Assault Of 12-Year-Old SHELTON, Conn. -- An attorney from Shelton has been charged with sexually assaulting a minor, according to Shelton Police. Police arrested Peter Kruzynski, 49, on Tuesday, and charged him with first-degree sexual assault, second-degree sexual assault, fourth-degree sexual assault, two counts of risk of injury, impairing morals of a minor and coercion.
