Family Escapes As Six Stations Fight Poughquag Blaze POUGHQUAG -- A family safely evacuated after a blaze that devastated a house in Poughquag Sunday night, according to The Poughkeepsie Journal.Six fire stations fought the fire at 2720 Pleasant Ridge Road, Union Vale Fire District Chief Dan McMorris told the newspaper. The responders were met with a "heavy fire" in the home's rear, though the family had gotten out ok, he reportedly said.
